Our Custom Jewellery Design Process
The first stage: Getting to know you
If you’re wanting custom, handmade jewellery, a face-to-face meeting with a member of our dedicated sales team, in either one of our Perth or Adelaide showrooms, gives us the understanding of what makes you, you. We will get to know what you like and dislike; the personality of your wardrobe; when you plan to wear your bespoke piece; and, how much you intend to spend.
The second stage: Meet your dedicated jewellery designer
After we have sat together to select your perfect stone/s, something truly magical takes place – a Solid Gold Diamonds designer will channel all of that knowledge you’ve provided us with and turn it into a sketch. It is at this stage that you will receive the first real glimpse of what your handmade diamond jewellery is to become. Afterall, you are your very own personal designer.
While all of our jewellers are experienced craftspeople, the creation of your bespoke jewellery will be tasked to the jeweller best suited to your specific design. Once we have agreed on the design, custom-made jewellery usually takes around three weeks to create right here in our Perth showroom.
The final stage: The unveiling of your custom jewellery & our guarantee to you!
Yes, the final stage of unveiling your custom, handmade jewellery is a truly exciting moment, but contrary to what some customers may think, the unveiling of our finished work is actually not the closing stage of the process. In fact, there is no final stage with us at Solid Gold Diamonds, because our custom jewellery comes with an automatic Lifetime Workmanship Warranty.
