From humble beginnings on a council estate, our founder Peter Greene has built the biggest jewellery showroom in Australia.
Peter’s start in life on London council estates was far from glamorous, but like the diamonds on which he has built his fortune, he was never one to crack under pressure.
His perseverance led him to establish Solid Gold Diamonds three decades ago, and this month, the biggest jewellery showroom in the country.
The opulent 400sqm showroom is Solid Gold Diamond’s new second-floor city premises, which sits adjacent to a 500sqm manufacturing centre.
Early hurdles from left-field
